Oostende, April 21st 2016 - On Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st of April, the second edition of the Belgian Offshore Days was organized at the Port of Oostende. The event was a great success and took place against the backdrop of the further expansion of the offshore wind farms at sea.
Christophe Dhaene, president of the Belgian Offshore Cluster explains: “We are delighted with the participation and enthusiasm of the Belgian companies active in the wind energy sector. We’ve worked hard to double the size of the fair for this edition. This success was also reflected in the amount of visitors, as around 250 visitors from Belgium and abroad attended the fair. Also the maximum number of exhibition stands were occupied, representing 20 companies. Looking at the next edition, we hope to continue growing.”
